Missenden Abbey In Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, UK. The top shot was taken about 6 years ago from the bridge you see in the photograph below. The River Misbourne is a chalk stream, and these are prone to drying up, but I have never seen it like this before. The springs in this section seem to have completely expired, but a couple of miles further downstream the river is quite full.
